Innegrity LLC had its Innegra™ E fiber selected for the 2006 Innovision Technology Development Award. Other finalists include Michelin North America, Kemet, and GlucoTec. The Innegra™ E fiber is a low dielectric fiber to be used in high frequency circuit board substrate materials. See Greenville News article.
Army Grants Innegrity Phase I SBIR to develop low cost, high strength fiber

The US Army Natick lab has awarded Innegrity a Phase I SBIR entitled “High-Strength Low-Cost Polymer Fibers for Protective Clothing and Equipment, Shelters and Airdrop Equipment.” The grant will support work to develop a high strength fiber based on novel processing and materials.
Patent Issues on Innegra S Fiber
July 11, 2006
Patent number 7,074,483, entitled “Melt-spun polyolefin multifilament yarn formation processes and yarns formed therefrom” was issued to Innegrity LLC. The patent covers the Innegra™ S fiber. Innegrity has seven other patents pending.
Innegrity Moves Into New Production Facility
June 2, 2006
Innegrity moved into a 7500 square foot facility and began assembly of its first production facility, capable of manufacturing 800,000 lbs of Innegra™ S fiber annually. The production facility is expected to be commissioned in 4th quarter 2006.
Air Force Grants Innegrity a Phase I SBIR to develop radome applications using Innegra™ S
April 6, 2006
The US Air Force granted Innegrity a Phase I SBIR entitled “Tri-Band Radome Design for Airborne Antennas.” This grant will support work to develop hybrid composites using Innegra™ S to reduce the transmission loss of the radar signal as it passes through the airborne radome.

Innegrity Joins VentureSouth

Innegrity LLC has joined VentureSouth, a task force formed by the Southern Growth Policies Board to bring more venture capital to the southern region. This task force, headed by Virginia Governor Mark Warner, will develop strategies to increase the amount of capital available to our regions businesses.
